JAYCO ANNOUNCES PRODUCTION INCREASES

Middlebury, IN --  Jayco, Inc. today announces that it is increasing production rates as a result of "higher than anticipated levels of incoming orders" for RV"s.  The company said that its order backlog is the largest in more than two years and that it has hired more than 200 production workers in anticipation of the production rate increase.

In making the announcement Derald Bontrager, Jayco's President and COO said, "As a result of imroving market conditions and very low dealer inventories, Jayco needs to significantly increase our output in order to meet rising demand for our products.  It has become increasingly clear that 2009 will end better than we expected and we are encouraged by the prospects of our business in 2010.  This is the first tangible indication that the RV industry has turned the corner and can look forward to improved business conditions going forward."
